We are delighted to announce we have awarded a research grant by the Scottish Funding Council in partnership with the Hong Kong Research Council. Our lab will be working in partnership with Prof Cammie McBride at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. With this project we will investigate the determinants of literacy development and handedness in a twin cohort. The bilinguism (English/Chinese) which characterises this cohort offers unique features for our genetic studies.
