Silvia has given a series of talks about handedness genetics at the Summer Science Exhibition 2016 held at the Royal Society in London. The talks were mainly attend by pupils from different secondary schools as well as visitors of all ages. It has been a great honour to showcase our work to such an important and high profile event.
We are very excited Chiara Diquigiovanni is back! Chiara arrives from the University of Bologna and is visiting us thanks to the support provided by a EuFishBioMed travel scholarship. Chiara spent time with us before to develop cellular models for genes underlying rare diseases. She will now follow up this work with analyses in zebrafish. Another example of the benefits the EU offers to scientists. We are grateful to our sponsor for this opportunity.
